Road transport operators will now get Police Commercial Vehicle Inspection Reports (CVIR) faster.
NZTA has upgraded its Roadside Inspection Database (RID) processing from a manual to an automated process. This means you can expect to receive CVIRs within 24 hours of vehicles being inspected.
You’ll also receive more vehicle information on the vehicles in your fleet, including vehicle weight, when the vehicle has been weighed.
