NZTA has started weekly regional newsletters about roadworks on the state highway network to help you plan your travel. They have all the work happening across a region’s state highways in the week ahead, so are a single place you can easily see everything NZTA is up to. We recommend signing up to multiple regions if you travel regularly across the country.
The newsletters will also tell you about any changes to ongoing works, such as when works are affected by bad weather, and will profile works a bit further out if they’re going to be disruptive – such as when NZTA needs to close roads get the job done.
The newsletter is complementary to the roadworks and travel updates NZTA publishes via other channels, such as the Freight Register, on Journey Planner and on its social media pages.
