The much-anticipated TMS Teletrac Navman Technology | Maintenance | Safety Conference & Exhibition is set to kick off next Wednesday 13 March with the Truck of the Year Australasia winner announcement at 11.00am and the official opening of the event at midday.
With the exhibitor space sold out and tickets flying out the door, opportunities to purchase tickets are closing fast. Anyone hoping to attend is encouraged to get tickets now to avoid disappointment.
A big part of the event is to expose more of New Zealand to the transport industry and the opportunities it offers. Wednesday morning’s Careers Expo has received more than 100 registrations from schools and young people interested in finding out more about the industry.
The TMS Event Scholarship has proved popular. There are still a few scholarships remaining, and the industry is encouraged to offer it to any apprentice, technician, H&S representative, engineer, dispatch representative, or team member who could benefit from exposure to the event as part of their ongoing professional development.
Valued at $299+GST each. Sponsored attendees must attend both days with a paid delegate from the same company. So, apply now by contacting bill.james@trucking.nz.
Recognising that not everyone is able to attend the 2-day conference organisers, NTA and NRC, have decided to open the exhibition space to the public on Thursday 14 March from 5-7pm. This is a great opportunity for people to pop in and check out the Truck of the Year, never seen before trucks, technology, and innovation.
Exhibitors will be on hand with demonstrations and the public will have a real chance to get a deeper understanding of just what the transport industry is really about.
